THE POWER OF PRIVATE SUPPORT

The Hutchinson Center receives more funding from the National Institutes of Health than any other independent research center in the United States. However, realizing the Center’s strategic goals will critically depend on significant private investment – the only source of funding that can be used to rapidly respond to the explosive pace of discovery and to forge new, resource-intensive research directions.

Raise additional funds to support cancer research endeavors by asking friends, family and colleagues to make a donation to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.  All donations must be received by 9:00 AM on race day -- Sunday, June 29, 2008, to be eligible for prizes.

Checks are to be made payable to FHCRC.

TOP THREE FUND-RAISERS RECEIVE:

 1st Place:  Two first-class, round-trip Continental Airlines tickets -- valid for lower 48 travel, Mexico, Barbados and Canada.

2nd Place:  Two coach, round-trip Continental Airlines tickets -- valid for lower 48 travel, Mexico, Barbados and Canada.

 3rd Place:  Two coach, round-trip Continental Airlines tickets -- valid for lower 48 travel, Alaska, Canada, Central and South America.

 All participants raising $500 or more in donations (excluding top three fund-raisers) will be entered into a drawing. Three names will be drawn at the post-race Party-in-the-Park event.  Each winner will receive two coach, round-trip Continental Airlines tickets valid for lower 48 travel, Alaska, Canada, Central and South America.
